This is an independent informational guide, not affiliated with Tim Hortons. Prices are typical ranges and vary by location and province. Tax is excluded and delivery app prices differ. Check the official Tim Hortons menu or app before ordering.
Prices last checked: October 2026. Prices below are typical Canadian ranges in Canadian dollars, before tax.
Tim Hortons catering is built for groups: bundles that serve 6, platters that serve 12, and coffee by the box or the urn, at participating restaurants. It is also the part of the menu with the worst information online. The biggest competitor guide publishes no catering prices at all, and the prices that do circulate include an old table copied from site to site until it looks confirmed. This page separates what checks out from what does not, and prices what can be priced.
Start with the coffee: the Take Twelve
The Take Twelve is the most solidly priced item in this whole section. Five listings put the coffee box at $19.99, and it is a proper kit: 12 cups of coffee in an insulated box with the cups, lids, cream, sugar and stirrers included, which works out to about $1.67 a cup. One drink per box; a group that wants coffee and tea needs two boxes.
| Take Twelve fill | Price |
|---|---|
| Coffee (Original Blend, Dark Roast or Decaf) | $19.99 |
| Steeped or specialty tea | $21.49 to $21.99 |
| Hot chocolate | $24.99 |
| French Vanilla | $28.99 |
One conflict to settle: several websites list a 12-cup coffee box at $23.99. No source shows a $19.99 Take Twelve and a $23.99 coffee box side by side as two different products, and the $23.99 figure travels inside the copied table described below. The weight of the evidence puts the coffee box at $19.99, and $23.99 is best read as a conflicting report for the same box.
Bundles for 6 and platters for 12
The current program prices food by the group, and two catering listings carry the same structure. They agree exactly on the breakfast lines and differ by a dollar or two on a few lunch and bakery lines, so those are printed as the small ranges they are. Prices are set per restaurant and confirmed when you order.
| Item | Bundle, serves 6 | Platter, serves 12 |
|---|---|---|
| Classic Breakfast Sandwich | $28.49 | $56.99 |
| Farmer’s Wrap Breakfast | $34.49 | $68.99 |
| Lunch Sandwich | $39.99 | $80.49 |
| Lunch Wraps | $48.99 to $50.49 | $97.99 to $100.99 |
| Signature Baked Goods | $17.99 to $18.49 | $35.99 to $37.49 |
| Bagel and Cream Cheese | Not listed | $35.99 |
| PB&J Packet Bundle | $7.20 to $8.40 | Sold as a bundle only |
For the baked case at group scale, the ordinary boxes do the same job and are priced on their own pages: the 50-count Timbits box at $9.99 on the Timbits page, and donut boxes on the Donuts page. One copied table prices 50 Timbits at $12.99 for catering; the menu listings are unanimous at $9.99, and the menu price is the one to budget around.
Coffee by the urn: Cambro service
For crowds past a single box, catering listings offer Cambro insulated urns in three sizes. One detailed listing prices them in full; a second listing’s mid-size figures agree for coffee and tea and sit slightly lower for hot chocolate and French Vanilla, so those two cells are printed as ranges. Confirm the urn price with your restaurant when you order, as with everything on this page.
| Fill | Small, 35 cups | Medium, 70 cups | Large, 105 cups |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coffee (Original, Dark Roast or Decaf) | $55.00 | $110.00 | $160.00 |
| Steeped Tea | $60.00 | $120.00 | $175.00 |
| Hot Chocolate | $75.00 | $130.00 to $135.00 | $195.00 |
| White Hot Chocolate | $75.00 | $130.00 to $135.00 | $195.00 |
| French Vanilla | $85.00 | $145.00 to $150.00 | $220.00 |
The copied table you will see everywhere else
Search catering prices and you will meet the same table on site after site: a sandwich platter at $39.99, a wrap platter at $42.99, a hash brown tray at $16.99, a fruit tray at $29.99. It reads as confirmed because it appears in so many places, but the wording is identical everywhere, which means it is one table being copied, not many sources agreeing. It also gives no serving counts, and its prices do not fit the current bundle and platter program above. Hash brown trays and fruit trays do not appear in the current catering listings at all. If a restaurant still sells them, that is a local offer, not a published program.
How ordering works
Catering runs at participating restaurants only, and the exact menu and price for your location appear when you start an order for that store. Depending on the restaurant, orders go through the app or website’s catering section or directly with the restaurant by phone or in person; the listings disagree about which route is standard, because both exist. The consistent rules: give at least 24 hours of notice for platters and urns, and longer for large or early-morning orders, though small orders can sometimes be done the same day. There is no chain-wide dollar minimum; the smallest unit in the program is a bundle for 6. Pickup is the default, and delivery varies by location. Online orders are prepaid, by card or with a Tims Gift Card. Cancellations go by phone to the restaurant: 12 hours of notice for orders under $500, 24 hours for orders over it. Do not assume plates and cutlery are included; ask when you order.

Pickup is the standard arrangement. Delivery may be available at some locations or through delivery platforms, and it varies by restaurant, so confirm when you order.
Can I pay for catering with a gift card?
For online catering orders, yes: the prepaid options listed include Tims Gift Cards alongside the usual credit and debit cards. The gift card guide covers balances and reload limits before you load one up for a big order.
